After years of working for corporate companies, I finally decided to open a business of which I could be proud of and say: “I did it!”.
Why? This is the question I asked when I began my new journey. Why did I choose this path to resilience?
My ability to understand people and their financial needs is what sets me apart in the industry and life itself.
With everything I do I aim to be beneficial to my cause by helping, lifting, and serving the people I get to interact with in the process. By up-lifting others, I get the opportunity to create a legacy and build a sustainable company.
After thirty years of experience in the Short-Term Insurance Industry I have built a diversified field of knowledge giving me the capability to advise you on any of your short-term insurance needs.

As a newcomer in the insurance industry and one of the first employees at SKiB, I have learned a lot in a short period of time. Especially, how important it is to listen to, and fulfil our client’s needs.
When I underwrite any policy,
I must make sure that it is underwritten due diligently and timeously.
It is also important that the client stays informed and understand what his policy entails.
This creates a platform of trust between the client, the broker and me.
Which is what insurance is based on – good faith.

I have been in the insurance industry specifically claims handling for a period of three years and going and within this time I developed a set of skills that I believe makes me good at what I do,
I make sure that our clients claims are settled fairly and justly.
Our clients always receive the best and efficient service on their claims.
I always make sure that our clients are updated constantly on the process of their claims and receive instant feedback on their queries.
One of my best qualities, is empathy, this makes me put myself in the client’s shoes and thus making sure that the clients claims are handled as fast, correctly and efficiently as possible.
Ek het n gediversifiseerde loopbaan gehad voor ek in versekering in gegaan het.
Ek was in die bankwese, kleinhandel en vir n goeie klompie jare in boerdery betrokke.
Dit maak dat ek groot oorsig het oor baie besigheidsvelde en die risiko's wat met hierdie besighede gepaard gaan. Wanneer jy dit kombineer met goeie kennis van versekerings produkte wat in die mark, oor hoe om hierdie risiko's te dek en selfs te bestuur glo ek dit is n wen-kombinasie vir die klient.
Prys sal altyd n groot faktor wees, maar vir my gaan dit oor om jou as kliënt eers reg verseker te kry, en dan die beste prys in die mark te gaan soek.

I started off my career in 1998 as a secretarial clerk at a Namibian Insurance Brokerage in Keetmanshoop.
Blessed to have received a grounded foundation in the insurance market, I worked my way up through all levels and areas of expertise, to where I am today.
I feel honored to have been recruited by one of my mentors through the years. Therefore, I am very proud to be part of the Seun Kesslau Insurance Brokers' family.
My dedication and passion for what I do as an individual, who enjoys working in the insurance industry, is what sets me apart from others.

Ek het groot geword in Keetmanshoop en is lief vir die platteland. In 2014 het ek die versekerings-werêld betree. In die 5 jaar het ek soveel geleer en ek leer nogsteeds elke dag iets nuuts by.
Ek het Augustus 2019 deel geword van Seun Kesslau Insurance Brokers.
Ons is 'n sterk gemotiveerde span en ek is baie opgewonde oor die toekoms.
‘n Belangrike lewensreël vir my, is om mense te behandel soos jy graag sal wil behandel word.
Ek hou van nuwe uitdagings en is lief daarvoor om met mense te werk.
Ek is passievol oor my werk en ek is geneig om goeie oplossings te bied vir probleme, so ek doen wat nodig is om struikelblokke te oorkom.
Goeie kliëntediens is vir my uiters belangrik, daarom is ek gemotiveerd om hard te werk en ook om ‘n verskil te maak.

(Short term Insurance) for more than 19 years and had to grow and keep up (never stopped learning) with the increasingly competitive marketplace of which we in the insurance industry are part of.
I am reliable and trustworthy;
I always strive to match the product benefits as well as advantages to what is most important for customers.
Customer satisfaction is one of my core focuses.
I am not just a broker selling Insurance but aim to sell benefits to my clients as well as value for their money.
Service and satisfaction regarding premiums, cover given and claims are my core focus points regarding my existing as well as possible new customers.
